Akira Konomi and Kisaragi Nel will be the Guest judges for one of the biggest Cosplay contest in the country ; ONE PLUS Cosplay Festa 2019. The event is from 27-29 September 2019!

Please introduce yourself to the Indian Audiences!
Hi! This is Konomi Akira. I am a Japanese cosplayer! Besides cosplaying, I am a voice actor in anime and games, and have helped establish companies in cosplay and art. I am also a president of a company. When I was little, I couldn’t say I liked what I liked, so I was a hidden otaku. When I participated in the World Cosplay Summit, I won the Japan title and was invited to Anime Manga events around the world as a representative of the country, and I now have otaku friends in over 40 countries!
I would be happy if I could become a bridge between Japan and India through cosplay!
What kind of image do you have about Indian cosplay community?
Girls are cute! Boys are cute! I was first invited to India four years ago, and since then, the culture in this Country has evolved so fast! I’m glad! I think it’s wonderful to enjoy the whole body art form that lets you be what you want! I’m happy to meet so many wonderful people today!

2020 is also an Olympic year, but please let us know your future cosplay prospects
Actually, I used to be a candidate for the Olympics. I’m a designated athlete. But now I’m flying around the world in cosplay. I think it’s kind of interesting. If any of you cosplayers are coming to Japan in 2020, I would like to have cosplay work and a fun party together. Please let me know as I will escort you! Let’s meet in Akihabara!
