The Grand Premiere of Suzume, the worldwide-blockbuster film, will be held in Mumbai on the 19th and 20th of April.
That’s not all! The Japan Foundation revealed that Suzume’s film director Makoto Shinkai and Manga artist, Denki Amashima, will appear in the grand premiere. Also, they will take the stage after the screening of the film to meet and greet their Indian fans.
It will be Shinkai’s first visit to India since 2019, when he attended the opening of the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) for the premiere screening of his previous film, “Weathering With You.”
In the previous visit, Shinkai had said, “I want to come back to India in about three years to show everyone a new film. See you again.” It will be the fulfillment of his promise to his fans of “revisiting India.”
Can Indian fans read “Suzume” Manga?
Kodansha, Japan’s top publishing company, published in Japan the Manga franchise of “Suzume” by Denki Amashima. A source told Super Sugoii® that its Manga in English is coming soon on Manga Planet India for the Indian audience.
