Manga Planet India expanding down south in India

Manga Planet India is working towards expanding their brand in various parts of India since 2015. Recently the team was a part of a Japanese event called Japan Habba in Bangalore.

Japan Habba has been an event that has been promoting the culture of Japan in India for many years. This time the event was held at the JN Auditorium in Bangalore. It was a pleasure for the team to discover so many lovers of the Japanese culture in the country. This aligns with their vision and dream of strengthening the Indo-Japan Bond between the two countries.

So what role did Manga Planet India play during the event? To start off with, they had a booth which was mainly utilized to promote their 2018 mission; to venture into the world of sales with two of their popular original Manga Editions ‘After School’ and ‘The Golden Age of Decadence’. A huge development for the team which started from scratch in 2015 with a vision of promoting Japanese Manga content to the world in collaboration with Japanese brands in various countries.

Rahul Diwakar, a Japan Lover in Bangalore and a key member of the Japanese anime club in Bangalore said ‘The younger generation of India loves Japan and its culture. We love extending our support towards initiatives that bring in positive growth between the two countries’

When asked if they are confident about their vision; Hidekatsu Shimono from the team said ‘It is time that our world understands the limitless possibilities original Japanese Manga content has to offer. Our idea is to spread the message about our project to as many people as possible and the positive support from the Japan lovers in India has been amazing so far.’

The Project in India has been really well received so far with various popular Cosplayers along with Anime and Manga Lovers from the country showcasing their support for the team in some way or the other. With such a warm reception, one can only expect to expand more and have a successful brand venture in the world.
