The final movie in the Rebuild of Evangelion series, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time released in Japanese theatres, and it is already on its way to break Japanese box office records! This movie was a reboot of the 1995 anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, produced by Studio Khara. The story follows Shinji Ikari as he defends humanity from a looming threat by piloting a giant robot. Hideaki Anno, the author, screenwriter, and director of the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time.’ directed Hikaru Utada’s “One Last Kiss”
The collaboration has finally come to fruition with the conclusion of the “Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition”. The music video has received rave reviews from fans of both Hikaru Utada and Evangelion and has already garnered over 5,129,951 views in just two days since its premiere.
Mr. Anno then cut it up and joined it together during post-production to make the video. After receiving minimal orders from Mr. Anno via e-mail, Hikaru Utada took meticulous measures to prevent COVID-19 infection and shot the film in the suburbs of London with a few staff members.
Mr. Anno and his team edited the final video in Japan. They received the video material shot with a variety of equipment, including smartphones. The result is a brilliant work that evokes haunting and bittersweet emotions.

International Edition Vinyl of ‘One Last Kiss’ announced
With the huge amount of requests from overseas, the release of the International edition vinyl of ‘One Last Kiss’ was announced. The album cover is different from the Japanese edition and the cover features Asuka. This vinyl is planned to be released in the summer of 2021.
