She cosplayed as Rei Ayanami, a character from this cult anime. Her debut has already received an amazing reaction especially from Evangelion’s fans around the world.

Her cover song video ‘A Cruel Angel’s Thesis’(English version) has been viewed more than 170,000 times across Facebook and Instagram, especially in countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines!
As of 9th January, the full English version of the video on Youtube has received more than 160,000 views already.
A combined view of over 330,000 (across YouTube/Facebook/Instagram) in just one week is a strong motivation for Hikari who is already working on her next cover. There is also a Japanese version of the song for fans who love this hit song.

Hikari’s first cosplay theme is ‘Evangelion’. She is paying tribute to the cult series. The latest anime movie will be released on the 23rd of January in Japan.
