Good news for 2D fight-game fans from India! Developed by French-Bread, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, a brand new entry in its cult anime fighting game series Melty Blood is all set for launch in the latter half of 2021. This game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The story of this game is by Kinoko Nasu and new character designs by Takashi Takeuchi.

As per their official website, the game will see new and popular characters from the franchise gear up for some magical action. This new sequel will retain the typical 2D one-on-one fighting action that is the series’ trademark. It will also showcase an entirely new interface for the franchise’s HD visual debut. Once you start the game, you can choose from 10 different color schemes. Players will even have the option of choosing their own custom colors. The characters featuring in the new upcoming visual novel Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, will also be a part of the game. This visual novel will be launching in August 2021. The 2D game also features animated battle scenes.
“MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA” has been built from the ground up for the modern gaming landscape. It includes features that support HD visuals and has a rebuilt fighting system.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA is set for worldwide release with support for five languages: Japanese, English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), and Korean. (Voice acting is in Japanese only.)
