August Cinderella Nine is a smartphone game based on the theme of “youth x high school girl x high school baseball”.

According to the official website a full voice event called “Haruhi Suzumiya’s boring summer” will be held in the game. Haruhi Suzumiya will deliver the story of all 6 episodes in full voice. Apart from this, on the event stage, songs like “Hare Hare Yukai” will be played as BGM.

What is SOS team?

SOS team comprises of SSR Haruhi Suzumiya (CV. Aya Hirano), SSR Mikuru Asahina (CV. Yuko Goto), and SSR Yuki Nagato (CV. Mari Kayahara). About the Game

In the game, a gamer can take the role of a former little senior league baseball ace who lost their baseball career after suffering an injury. The gamer moves to their family’s hometown and enrolls in the local high school. When the gamer meets Tsubasa, he is persuaded to be the manager of the baseball team of their school. This inspires the gamer to take the team to the high school nationals at Koshien.

In the game, players get the scope to gather team members ( over in-game 50 characters) and experience the team members’ stories.  Gamers also train the members to improve their skills. Gamers then get to decide on the batting order.

The game inspired a television anime that premiered in Japan in July 2019. It is currently available on Crunchyroll. Sentai Filmworks holds the license to the anime.
