Design & ship your own anime figure with Pixiv Factory x VRoid

Turn your otaku’s fantasy into a reality with Pixiv Factory x VRoid, a new Pixiv Factory 3D printing initiative. For an otaku, buying anime figures is the best way to treat ourselves to something nice, but now with Pixiv’s new initiative, you can go one step further and design your own anime figure! These characters are available for purchase starting at 9,900 Japanese Yen (6500 INR) for a 100 mm-sized original character.

A step-by-step process to create your own character with Pixiv Factory x VRoid

According to the official website, you can follow the below steps and build your anime characters.

Step 1:

Download the VRoid Studio software and choose one of two body types/starting outfits. Create a model with poses and facial expressions on VRoid Studio. Export the FVP file for 3D printing from the model screen.

Step 2:
Upload the exported FVP file on pixiv FACTORY as guided below.

Once you download this 3D Software one can easily spend a few hours exploring it since there is so much to do! The figures created on VRoid Studio need to be worked on from scratch, and therefore a permanent pose is a huge decision. There is an existing character page too for your reference, the program also offers a few animation loops which you can experiment with. All of this helps you figure out what your character’s body language and shape will be.

Once your character is ready you can select the finished size, Type your order specifications and wait for the item to be delivered to you!
